Ineptitude Elite Skill - Guild Wars Forums

I am an R/Me looking to get Ineptitude as my elite skill. Someone on the forum posted earlier that this was a terrible spell to use? Why? It sounds like a great counter against warriors. If anyone has an opinion on a better Mesmer elite skill please let me know.

Also, I did the skill search and it said to get this spell at Ventari's Refuge. I am supposed to steal it off of a boss? If so, does anyone know which boss and where?

Last question: Does it unlock runes if you buy them off people or do you have to identify them?

What? up to 68dmg (ignores armor), and blinds the enemy? for 10 mana? That's an awesome skill, especially when used in conjunction with something else.

Look for the post that has all the elite skills and their locations for ways of getting it.

Like any skill, its value is in how you use it. I personally love ineptitude, and it's one of my "must-have" mesmer skills, just in case I need to fill an anti-attacker role for my guild. It's up there with Energy Drain or Power Block for skills that I want to get.

It's not available in Ventari's anymore- that's old information from the beta weekends. You'll have to capture it from a boss in the later areas of the game- most of the elite skills are listed in the thread here.
